You are what you hate?

Did you ever notice that people who complain about certain character flaws usually have those very traits themselves? Like a braggart who hates arrogant people? Or like a selfish person who hates when other people are selfish?

Saw some examples of this today and it makes me wonder if I offend on the same things that I say are offensive to me. I detest inconsiderate people. Am I inconsiderate?
